 Launch off Whitewater Twp. Park\, Park Road\, then north 1.5 miles to new plate of Ice 4 ½ inches thick. </p>
 <p>White Birch Lodge is CLOSED! They went to Costa Rico! </p>
 <p>There is currently NO access to the regatta plate from 3rd street in Elk Rapids OR from White Birch Lodge as of 3/1/2006.<br />
 New ice in the north part of Elk Lake only measured 2.5 inches as of 3/1/2006.</p>
